Catholic rituals
Liturgical worship practices
Catholic rituals are the formal religious practices and ceremonies of the Roman Catholic Church.
These include the seven sacraments—baptism, confirmation, Eucharist, confession, marriage, holy orders, and anointing of the sick—as well as the Mass, rosary, stations of the cross, and various feast day observances.
The phrase sometimes appears in Protestant or secular contexts with mild suspicion of elaborate ceremony: All that incense and kneeling felt like Catholic rituals to him.
