Japanized

Given Japanese style

Japanized describes something adapted to Japanese style, culture, or sensibilities.

A Japanized version of a Western product might feature different flavors, packaging, or design elements suited to Japanese tastes.

The term can also describe foreign words absorbed into Japanese: The Japanized pronunciation of "baseball" is "bēsubōru".

Sometimes used critically to suggest superficial or stereotypical adaptation.
