Japanese community
Asian ethnic enclave
A Japanese community is a neighborhood, district, or social network where people of Japanese descent live, gather, or maintain cultural ties.
The term often refers to ethnic enclaves in cities outside Japan—historic Japantowns, cultural centers, or diaspora organizations: The Japanese community in Los Angeles rallied to preserve Little Tokyo.
It can also mean the collective body of Japanese residents or citizens in a given area.
