HD screen
High-definition television panel
An HD screen is a display capable of showing high-definition video—at minimum 720 horizontal lines of resolution, though 1080 is now standard.
The term distinguishes sharper modern displays from older standard-definition screens: The new TV has an HD screen.
As 4K and higher resolutions become common, HD increasingly marks a baseline rather than a premium feature.
