God's will
Heaven's intended outcome
God's will is what God wants or intends to happen—the divine plan for events, individuals, or humanity.
Religious believers invoke it to explain outcomes beyond human control: It was God's will that she survived.
The phrase can offer comfort in tragedy or justify acceptance of circumstances: We must submit to God's will.
Critics note it sometimes serves to discourage questioning or action: They dismissed the illness as God's will rather than seeking treatment.
