G-clamp
Threaded holding device
A G-clamp is a C-shaped metal clamp with a threaded screw, used to hold materials firmly in place during woodworking, welding, or gluing.
The frame resembles the letter G (or C, hence also called C-clamp).
The screw tightens against one jaw to grip the workpiece: Secure the boards with a G-clamp while the glue dries.
