The Flaming Lips is an American rock band formed in Oklahoma City in 1983, known for experimental psychedelic music and elaborate live performances featuring confetti, balloons, and frontman Wayne Coyne emerging from a giant plastic bubble.
Their albums include *The Soft Bulletin* and *Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots*: I saw the Flaming Lips at a festival and it was surreal.
