Fire Nation
Volcanic militant realm
The Fire Nation is one of four nations in the animated series *Avatar: The Last Airbender*, whose people can manipulate fire through bending.
In the show's mythology, the Fire Nation wages an imperialist war against the other nations.
The term sometimes appears in broader cultural reference as shorthand for aggressive, expansionist powers: The company's hostile takeovers gave it real Fire Nation energy.
