Edge of Tomorrow is a 2014 science fiction film in which a soldier relives the same combat day repeatedly after dying, gaining skill with each loop.
The film's tagline—Live. Die. Repeat. —became so associated with it that later marketing used the phrase as an alternate title.
The premise has made the title shorthand for any situation involving repetitive failure and incremental improvement: Learning to parallel park was my Edge of Tomorrow moment.
