EKG reading
Cardiac electrical pattern
An EKG reading is the output from an electrocardiogram—a test that records the heart's electrical activity.
The reading appears as a series of waves and peaks on paper or screen, which doctors interpret to detect arrhythmias, heart attacks, and other cardiac conditions: The EKG reading showed an irregular heartbeat.
