Destiny's Child
Beyoncé's launching pad
Destiny's Child was an American R&B girl group from Houston, active from the late 1990s through the mid-2000s.
The group launched Beyoncé Knowles's career and produced hits like "Say My Name" and "Survivor." Their name, taken from the Book of Isaiah, suggests fate or divine purpose: She's been a Beyoncé fan since the Destiny's Child days.
