Dennis the Menace
Dennis the Menace refers to two unrelated comic strip characters who debuted on the same day in 1951—an American boy created by Hank Ketcham and a British boy created by David Law.
Both are mischievous troublemakers, making the name shorthand for any child who causes chaos: My nephew is a real Dennis the Menace.
