Darlington
South Carolina county
Darlington is a town in northeast England, in County Durham, historically significant as a railway hub—the Stockton and Darlington Railway (1825) was the world's first public railway to use steam locomotives.
The name also appears in several American towns, most notably in South Carolina and Wisconsin.
In electronics, a Darlington pair or Darlington transistor is a compound structure of two transistors that provides high current gain.
