progressivists
Advocates for change
Progressivists are advocates of progressivism—the belief that social, political, and economic conditions can and should be improved through reform and government action.
The term appears in political and educational contexts: Progressivists in the early twentieth century pushed for labor protections and women's suffrage.
More neutral than "progressives," which has become politically charged.
