A Cuban sandwich is a pressed sandwich of roasted pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard on Cuban bread.
The bread is brushed with butter and the sandwich grilled in a press until crispy and flattened.
Associated with Cuban immigrant communities in Florida, particularly Tampa and Miami, which dispute its origins.
