Badfinger
Badfinger was a Welsh rock band active primarily in the early 1970s, signed to the Beatles' Apple Records.
Known for power pop hits like "Come and Get It" (written by Paul McCartney) and "Day After Day," the band is often cited as influential but tragically underrecognized.
The name is sometimes invoked as shorthand for talented artists destroyed by music industry exploitation—two members died by suicide amid financial and legal turmoil.
