Catholic catechism
Church teaching manual
A Catholic catechism is a summary of Catholic doctrine, typically in question-and-answer format, used for religious instruction.
The catechism teaches core beliefs—the Trinity, sacraments, commandments, prayer—to those preparing for confirmation or seeking to understand the faith: She memorized answers from the catechism as a child.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church, published in 1992, is the authoritative modern reference.
