Born Free
Inherently without chains
Born Free is a 1966 film about Joy Adamson raising and releasing an orphaned lioness named Elsa in Kenya, spawning sequels and a conservation organization.
The phrase evokes the idea that wild animals belong in nature, not captivity.
The title song became an anthem for freedom and living authentically: We should all be born free.
