African plains
Where lions roam
The African plains are vast, flat grasslands stretching across much of sub-Saharan Africa, particularly the savannas of East Africa.
These landscapes are famous for supporting enormous populations of wildlife—elephants, lions, zebras, wildebeest—and for the seasonal migrations that move across them.
The documentary captured the African plains at sunset.
