Berenstain Bears

The Berenstain Bears is a series of children's books featuring a family of anthropomorphic bears—Mama, Papa, Brother, Sister, and later Honey Bear—created by Stan and Jan Berenstain beginning in 1962.

The stories typically teach gentle moral lessons about family life, good behavior, and childhood challenges.

The name is subject to a popular false-memory phenomenon where many people insist they remember it spelled "Berenstein," sometimes cited as evidence of parallel universes or timeline shifts.
