Garbage Pail Kids
Satirical sticker cards
Garbage Pail Kids is a trading card series launched in 1985, featuring grotesque parodies of Cabbage Patch Kids dolls.
Each card depicts a child in some disgusting, violent, or absurd scenario, with punning names like Adam Bomb or Leaky Lindsay.
The cards became a schoolyard sensation and symbol of 1980s kid culture, spawning revivals and nostalgia collecting: My mom threw out my Garbage Pail Kids.
