Allied troops
Joint military personnel
Allied troops are military forces fighting on the same side in a war, especially soldiers from the alliance of nations that opposed the Axis powers in World War II—primarily American, British, Canadian, and other Commonwealth forces: Allied troops landed on the beaches of Normandy.
The term appears frequently in historical accounts of both World Wars.
