AYSO
Kids' soccer organization
AYSO stands for American Youth Soccer Organization, a nonprofit that runs recreational soccer leagues for children across the United States.
Founded in 1964, it emphasizes participation over competition—every registered child plays in every game.
My kids played AYSO for years before moving to club soccer.
