winners bracket
Undefeated tournament side
The winners bracket is the upper portion of a double-elimination tournament, where competitors remain until they lose for the first time.
Losing in the winners bracket drops you to the losers bracket, where a second loss eliminates you.
Staying in the winners bracket is advantageous—you have more chances and often face fewer matches to win the tournament.
