Manual glass lever
A window crank is the small handle used to open and close a casement window or, in older vehicles, to raise and lower a car window by turning.
The mechanism converts rotational motion into the linear movement of the glass.
Vehicle window cranks have largely been replaced by electric controls: My old truck still has window cranks.
