wet t-shirt contest
Drenched top showdown
A wet t-shirt contest is a competition, typically at bars or beach venues, where women wearing white t-shirts have water poured over them, making the fabric transparent and revealing their breasts.
Contestants are judged by audience reaction.
The events are associated with spring break culture and lowbrow entertainment: The bar advertised a wet t-shirt contest for Thursday nights.
