wetted
Got slightly damp
Wetted is the past tense and past participle of wet, used when something has been made wet or moistened.
While "wet" itself often serves as the past tense in casual speech I wet my hair, wetted appears in more formal or technical contexts: She wetted the cloth before wiping the surface, a freshly wetted sponge.
In scientific usage, wetted describes surfaces that have been covered with liquid: the wetted area of a hull.
