werebears
Bear-transforming cursed humans
Werebears are mythical creatures that transform between human and bear form, analogous to werewolves.
The concept appears in fantasy fiction, role-playing games, and folklore from various cultures.
Unlike their wolf counterparts, werebears are often portrayed as protective or benevolent: The party encountered a werebear guarding the forest shrine.
