A water bladder is a flexible reservoir for carrying drinking water, typically made of plastic or rubber and fitted with a tube for hands-free sipping.
Hikers and cyclists wear them in backpacks: I refilled my water bladder at the stream.
The term also applies to the internal sacs some animals and plants use to store water.
