warrantee

A warrantee is a person to whom a warranty is made—the recipient of a guarantee.
In property law, the warrantee receives assurance of clear title from the warrantor.
The term appears mainly in legal and commercial contexts: The warrantee may seek damages if the product fails within the coverage period.
Not to be confused with warranty, the guarantee itself.
