virtual book club
Remote literary gathering
A virtual book club is a reading group that meets online rather than in person, using video calls, chat platforms, or forums to discuss books.
Members may be scattered across cities or countries: I joined a virtual book club during the pandemic and we're still going strong.
The format allows participation without geographic constraints.
