vertical angles
Congruent at intersections
Vertical angles are the pair of opposite angles formed when two lines cross.
They share a vertex but no sides, appearing across from each other at the intersection point.
Vertical angles are always equal in measure: if two lines cross and one angle is 40°, the angle directly opposite is also 40°.
