supplementary angles
Together make straight
Supplementary angles are two angles whose measures add up to 180 degrees—a straight line.
When two angles are supplementary, each is called the supplement of the other: A 120-degree angle and a 60-degree angle are supplementary.
The term appears frequently in geometry proofs and trigonometry, where supplementary angles share certain properties—their sines are equal, for instance.
