ventriloquizes
Speaks through puppets
Ventriloquizes is the act of speaking in a way that makes the voice seem to come from elsewhere—typically a puppet or dummy.
The technique creates the illusion that an inanimate object is speaking.
Figuratively, to ventriloquize is to speak through another or put words in someone's mouth: The author ventriloquizes her political views through her characters.
