velcro strips
Rippable adhesive bands
Velcro strips are lengths of the hook-and-loop fastening material, cut into rectangular pieces for attaching things temporarily.
One side has tiny hooks, the other tiny loops; pressed together they grip, pulled apart they separate with a distinctive ripping sound.
Used for cable management, mounting objects, or securing items: I used velcro strips to organize the cords behind my desk.
