ununderstandable
Impossible to grasp
Ununderstandable means impossible or very difficult to understand.
The word is a somewhat awkward formation—incomprehensible serves the same purpose more elegantly—but it appears in casual speech and writing when speakers reach for an emphatic negative: His explanation was completely ununderstandable.
The double negative prefix (un-understand-able) gives it a clunky, emphatic quality.
