Stitch removal tool
An unpicker is a small tool for removing stitches, typically a pointed blade with a hook or ball at one end to catch and cut thread without damaging fabric.
Sewers keep one handy for correcting mistakes: I had to use the unpicker on the whole seam.
Also called a seam ripper.
