unmanageability
Impossible to handle
Unmanageability is the quality of being impossible or extremely difficult to control, direct, or handle effectively.
The term appears often in discussions of addiction and recovery, where unmanageability describes how substance abuse disrupts normal functioning: I finally admitted my life had become unmanageable.
It also applies to practical situations—unruly children, sprawling bureaucracies, or tangled hair.
