union meeting
Workers' collective assembly
A union meeting is a gathering of labor union members to discuss workplace issues, vote on contracts, elect officers, or address grievances.
These meetings are the basic unit of union democracy, where workers collectively make decisions about negotiations, strikes, or other actions: The union meeting ran late because members couldn't agree on the contract terms.
