Teamsters
Major haulers' organization
Teamsters originally drove teams of horses or oxen hauling freight.
The word now refers almost exclusively to members of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, a large American labor union representing truck drivers, warehouse workers, and other transportation employees.
The union's history includes both landmark labor organizing and notorious corruption scandals: The Teamsters threatened to strike.
He's been a Teamster for thirty years.
