undoubling
Making one again
Undoubling is the act of reversing a doubling—separating or unfolding what was doubled.
In card games, particularly bridge, undoubling cancels a previous double bid.
The word appears in technical contexts where something folded, layered, or duplicated is being returned to a single state: She began undoubling the fabric to lay it flat.
