undissolved
Not yet liquefied
Undissolved describes something that has not dissolved—remaining solid or intact in a liquid rather than breaking down into solution.
Sugar stirred briefly may leave undissolved grains at the bottom of the cup.
The word applies literally to chemistry and cooking, and occasionally figuratively to things that persist unresolved: undissolved tensions from the merger.
