Undoing a click
Unclicking is releasing a mouse button after clicking, or reversing a selection made by clicking.
In software interfaces, you might unclick a checkbox to deselect it: I accidentally unclicked the option and had to go back.
The word captures both the physical act of releasing and the functional act of undoing a click's effect.
