ultrahot
Beyond merely scalding
Ultrahot means extremely hot—hotter than merely hot.
The term appears in astrophysics for stars with surface temperatures exceeding 30,000 Kelvin, and in cooking for techniques requiring intense heat: Sear the steak in an ultrahot pan.
In casual use, ultrahot describes anyone or anything exceptionally attractive or desirable: That new actor is ultrahot.
