twitterers
Those who chirp
Twitterers are people who twitter—that is, who make light, rapid, chirping sounds, or who chatter in a nervous, excited way.
The word also refers to users of the social media platform Twitter (now X), though this sense competes with the platform's preferred term "tweeter." The twitterers in the audience couldn't contain their excitement.
