Preserved head display
A trophy mount is the preserved head, horns, or other parts of a hunted animal displayed on a wall or pedestal.
The term covers both the taxidermied specimen itself and the decorative plaque or base it's attached to: His office was lined with trophy mounts from African safaris.
Trophy mounts serve as evidence of hunting success and, for some, as decorative statements about masculinity or adventure.
