troll account
Online harassment persona
A troll account is a social media profile created primarily to provoke, harass, or spread discord rather than engage in genuine conversation.
The operator may use a fake identity or remain anonymous, posting inflammatory content to upset others or derail discussions: The comments section was overrun by troll accounts.
Some troll accounts are coordinated efforts to manipulate public opinion or sow confusion on political topics.
