transmigratory
Passing between bodies
Transmigratory describes movement or passage from one place, state, or body to another.
The word appears most often in discussions of souls passing between bodies after death—the doctrine of transmigration central to some Eastern religions: transmigratory beliefs about the soul's journey.
It can also describe physical migration across boundaries: transmigratory bird populations, transmigratory labor patterns.
