toss off

Do without effort

Toss off has two main senses.

The first is to produce something quickly and casually, often implying effortlessness: She tossed off a reply without much thought, He can toss off a sonnet in ten minutes.

The second, chiefly British, is vulgar slang for masturbate—to toss off or toss someone off.
