A theology class is a course studying religious belief, doctrine, and the nature of the divine.
Such classes examine sacred texts, religious traditions, and questions about God's existence and attributes.
They appear in seminaries training clergy, religious schools, and secular universities: I took a theology class on the New Testament.
The term sometimes appears dismissively to suggest impractical abstraction: This isn't a theology class—we need real solutions.
